This month we held our Annual St Patrick's Day Dinner and 5 Fish Frydays.

These are special events for the council as we meet people and minister using fine food and hospitality.

The St Patrick's Day's Dinner had an excellent turnout both in attendees and volunteers. We appreciate all of the knights of Columbus volunteers who assisted on that day.

FIsh Frydays continues to be something that is loved by the parish and the community. We have been able to keep many of the prices reasonable while at the same time serving food that folks are interested in reproducing themselves. This year we added Fried Shrimp and Fried Dough to the menu. The shrimp dinner has been a success as it has added variety to the 6 Friday menu

Some of the council attended the Blessed Michael McGivney Dinner in Southington at the Aqua Turf. This years honoree were pregnancy Council of Connecticut and all Pregnancy assistance centers of connecticut were invited. We sponsored 4 people to attend who were volunteers or associated with Birthright of Westbrook in Clinton. in the picture above are Worthy Treasurer Charlie Koelle and his wife, Worthy Trustee Peter Dlubek and Worth Financial Secretary Ralph Genua with our sponsored Guests. 

The CT RIght to Life Rally was held on March 22nd 2023 at the state capital in Hartford. There were many inspirational speakers and a very large attendance. The vening news in CT did not cover the event even though there were more than 300 people who rallied that day. The assembly is bringing forward a Bill that will spend $2M a year on lodging and transportation for women seeking abortion in our state from a state that ban's abortion.
